Respected guitarist, Jimmy Dale has played with legendary bands since he was a young man, (The Drifters, The Platters, The Coasters, Little Anthony and the Imperials) and played on the Big Mountains' hit album BABY, I LOVE YOUR WAY. Yet, in many ways, his career is just revving up with his super-exciting Smooth Jazz singles, “Agi’s Tune,” and the driving, in-the-pocket hit, “Dear Mr. Benson,” a homage to his idol, George Benson.
The composer, vocalist and guitarist, credits his success to his exposure to the Monterey Bay area. When his family moved to California’s Central Coast, the jazz community embraced the young talent. The A-List musician is quick to drop the names of his many influences by Monterey jazz icons the likes of music educator Don Schamber, musicians Ace Hill, Bobby Phillips, Lee Durley, JoJo Franklin, Don Pendergrass, Brian Stock and Santa Cruz legends Randy Masters, Joe Sekon and Ray Brown! A wonderful new addition to Smooth Jazz playlists all over the world... The Welcome sign is lit up for Jimmy Dale!
